Donna Ricci is a clinical psychologist and professional organizer who, for more than 20 years, has been helping people increase their awareness of themselves and their environments.

She has worked with countless clients helping them to express their creativity while coping with the demands of daily life. She has an understanding of the mind/body/spirit connection and believes that overall quality of life is enhanced when pursuit of that balance becomes a life long process. She believes that both physical and psychological traumas become trapped in the body and that a combination of cognitive therapy, attention to the external environment and a physical regimen can help release those traumas. Her extensive work with people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder lead to the development of methods to improve organizational skills in both the psychiatric and general communities.

Creative Spirit Organizing (www.creativespiritorganizing.com) is a company she began with the expressed purpose of helping people to increase their creative flow and output by identifying the barriers that inhibit their success. She has worked extensively with musicians and artists in helping them dismantle those barriers and become more fully expressive in their creativity.

She has done research on Noonan's Syndrome and has presented on various topics including Organizational Skills Development, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder and Asperger's Disorder.

She has been trained as a teacher and musician and is also a quilter whose work has been displayed and sold throughout Massachusetts (www.belladonnaquilts.com). Her avocations have instilled an appreciation for the flow of creative spirit and its value in our lives and in society.

She also has a private psychotherapy practice in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Karen has been working with clients using Ki-Hara both as a free-standing modality, as well as to support other modalities, to provide clients with a tool to clear their bodies of disabling restrictions, including pain.

Karen specialises in working to rehabilitate clients following injury, surgery or other condition.

Karen found Bob Cooley's work online, connecting her with Steve and experiencing such an opening through her shoulders as never before.

Karen came to this work, looking for a program which would provide the training needed to give and teach her clients a safe and effective method of stretching to supplement and maximise the benefits of massage.  She found more.

Karen has over 20 years of nursing experience, primarily as a pediatric RN, during which time she specialised in pediatric intensive care nursing and managed pediatric floors.

Karen has nursed in England and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as here in Boston.

Karen notices a significant difference in her body when she works out using this program.  Her body feels more easily able to move and function as she needs it to, with much less effort.

Having also suffered a broken arm in the recent past, she was able to apply the principles to work her fingers, hand and forearm, successfully rehabilitating them, supplementing occupational therapy and other modalities.  Healing and regaining the strength in her arm took less time, much to the pleasure of her surgeon.

Karen leads a weekly class in Ki-Hara.

Karen also functions as a teaching assistant for both 'Healing from the Core' and craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute, and also makes use of therapeutic massage and lymphatic drainage (Chikly Institute).

Karen enjoys SCUBA, bicycling, sea-kayaking, walking in the hills and making music ;)
