Specializing in Flexibility and Sport Specific Yoga Conditioning for Athletes including football, basketball, golf, running, triathlon. Karen has trained with a wide range of athletes including the Baltimore Ravens and the U of MD Terps Men's Basketball team to recreational golfers, triathletes and marathon runners. She provides customized, sport specific flexibility training for team sports as well as individualized private sessions to help athletes gain dynamic flexibility, improve athletic performance, speed recovery, and prevent injury.
Karen completed her Lev 1 training and mashing workshops with Steven Sierra and Anne Tierney and the Internship program with Susan Bianchi.
In addition to Ki Hara Resistance Stretching, Karen is a Registered Yoga Teacher, an ACE Group Exercise instructor and is trained in STOTT Pilates and Spinning. She enjoys teaching "fusion" style group classes combining these disciplines for functional strength, flexibility and cross training.
Karen is creator of the Flexible Warrior Athletic Yoga DVD series.
