I have a potential client who has plantar fasciitis. What stretches would you recommend? Spleen/Pancreas stretches?

Hey Ryan,

I also have a client who has developed and we have successfuly brought under control plantar faciitis. i used spleen pancreas stretches with straight leg (she has knee issues) and also did a TON of foot resistance work with her. I massaged aka pulled apart her feet and point and flex with resistance for 45 minutes at a time for each foot. She has slowly been able to wake with only slight pain and has been complaining less and less of that problem. i believe her problem started with her increase in using her treadmill at home too much too soon. She stopped useing the treadmill for a while also until her pain was less and now has been able to go back 20 minutes cardio and has a plan to increase more slowly. She is older, 73 years old.

Re: Plantar Faciitis 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I had plantar f. before my Boston Marathon in 1992 (which qualified me to represent at Barcelona Olympics) I incorporated aquatic training and bike for almost 45 days than gradually started to run on the road, track etc. I kept with aquatic training since (main part of my recovery and optimal athletic conditioning). Had plenty of sports massage and yoga sessions, but most importantly I trained with isokinetic resistive devices for the sport - not to lose the endurance and strength of my muscles and joints that I would used during my running.
