Core Training |
|
The core is vital to stability, balance, strength, and flexibility.
CORE: Hip flexor, rectus and transverse abdominals, and obliques Possibly the hardest body ‘part’ to train on both men and women, but unmistakably:
The core is vital to stability, balance, strength, and flexibility. There are hundreds if not thousands of books, classes, and videos all dedicated to the abdominal area - some promising results in under 10 minutes while others as long as an hour. However, just like with the principle of flexibility in Resistance Flexibility and Strength Training ®, one of the reasons why people aren´t seeing the results that they ‘long’ for is because the abdominal muscles are not getting properly lengthened to their true potential during crunches, sit-ups, and other forms of abdominal exercises. During Resistance Stretching ® exercises (both self and assisted stretches) people are naturally stabilizing and firming up their core. By adding backbends on the Gaiam Yoga Lift ® people are able to lengthen and strengthen the abdominal muscles even more - totally re-shaping and defining the mid-section. With exercises from Beginner to Advanced everyone can be on their way to stronger back and abs as well as a more fit body. |
